Philippine is a respected community leader with over 18 years of experience in government-funded nonprofit organizations. She has held senior management roles with a focus on:

• Advocacy for marginalized and underserved communities

• Programs addressing poverty reduction, literacy improvement, and newcomer integration

Philippine has served as a guest lecturer at the University of Windsor’s Social Justice in Education Conference and the Cultural Engagement Seminar. Currently, she is Vice-Chair of the board of COOK-UP, a not-for-profit social enterprise that assists early-stage food entrepreneurs, particularly from marginalized communities, in launching and growing businesses that generate meaningful community impact.
